Across Party Lines: Free Hugs Campaign [11/19/16] Everyone is shouting "unity!", but few people have a plan. While we seek to organize our grassroots community and make long-lasting change on a deeper level that serves everyone, Free Hugs is a campaign that unites as all. Right. Now.
Meet us on the Arlington side of Wingfield Park this Saturday at noon. Bring your own 'Free Hugs' sign, and get your hug on! The best part about FREE HUGS is that they are UNCONDITIONAL. We don't ask you if you're gay, straight, Republican, Democrat, Anti-Minorities, Atheist, etc. before we hug you -- we just hug you with abandon. And inside that hug both of us find peace and unity. Please join us, and tell everyone you know.

11/20/16, 3pm-5pm at Jester's Theater inside Sands Following Alchemist Theatre presents: The Gathering, Reverends Levity and Divine will be offering corresponding workshops. 3pm: "Flow Talk" with Jessica Levity ~ Qi Gong, Yoga, Jazz, Improv -- what do these things have in common? They're all "flow arts" in which the artist can achieve a meditative mental state called "flow", in addition to entertaining. The main principle of the flow art is the present moment, in which there is no attachment to the past or expectation of the future. Communication and conversation can be utilized in this way, yet many of us have to work through personal barriers to experience pure "flow talk". Join Jessica, an expert improvisor and public speaker, as she takes you through exercises to unlock this potential for yourself. 4pm: "The Art of the 45-minute Meeting" with Chris Daniels ~ Welcome to the 21st century where the majority of your life will be spent in a meeting, whether it be staff meetings, board meetings, committee meetings, parent-teacher conferences, etc. Meetings have awesome potential, fueled by the collective energies of those present, to make great accomplishments. Yet, there a prevailing belief that meetings are a gigantic waste of everyone's time! The truth is that meetings are often poorly planned, poorly structured, and poorly executed, causing great aggravation and annoyance to its attendees. However, there is hope. Join Reverend Divine as he discusses the pitfalls and successes of meetings, and shares his insight in how to have a succinct 45 minute for any occasion.
