From David and Goliath to Rudy, our cultural landscape is ripe with stories of underdogs overcoming the odds and the conquering the giants in their own lives. However, is the story ever that simple? How do we become giants in our own right? How do we surpass the seemingly insurmountable odds of our circumstances?

Join The Alchemists on 3/15/17, as they explore these ideas and more through prayer, meditation, music, sermon, and visual art.

The show begins at 7:30pm, doors at 7pm // How Bazzar - A Healing Marketplace - offering reiki, prayer, readings, and art opens at 6:45pm.

Tickets are: $15 in advance and $20 at the door. "Front and Center" seats are $25.

Across Party Lines: Free Hugs Campaign [11/19/16]

Everyone is shouting "unity!", but few people have a plan. While we seek to organize our grassroots community and make long-lasting change on a deeper level that serves everyone, Free Hugs is a campaign that unites as all. Right. Now.

Meet us on the Arlington side of Wingfield Park this Saturday at noon. Bring your own 'Free Hugs' sign, and get your hug on!

The best part about FREE HUGS is that they are UNCONDITIONAL. We don't ask you if you're gay, straight, Republican, Democrat, Anti-Minorities, Atheist, etc. before we hug you -- we just hug you with abandon. And inside that hug both of us find peace and unity.

Please join us, and tell everyone you know.

Alchemist Theatre Transforms Christ

Reno, Nev. –A profound contradiction lies within the Interfaith community.  We embrace unity and “oneness”, yet sometimes reject certain spiritual pathways. The name of Jesus Christ remains associated with haters and scandal, and thus the teachings of Christ are often left out of many interfaith and new age religions. Alchemist Theatre says it’s time to heal this rift; it’s time to ‘alchemize’ this energy. Alchemist Theatre is here to build a bridge between all Spiritual paths with anyone would like to take part in this powerful co-creation.
Imagine how much transformation could be gained through changing the connotation of Christ back to its origin of unconditional love?  Whether you believe Jesus was an actual person or a divine higher consciousness, we must now harness this holy energy from its original intention, long before the days of prejudiced translations, institutional corruption, and media divisiveness.

Through inspired sermons, music, and multimedia art, The Alchemists are bravely going where most new age religions fear to go – “Oh my God, we’re going full Jesus!” Reverend Divine flamboyantly shares in their latest promo video.  Alchemist Theatre presents “Victory” on Wednesday, August 17h at Center for Spiritual Living, Reno, on Lakeside Drive.  Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30pm.How Bazaar, a healing marketplace, opens at 6:45pm in the lobby.

Over the past 18 months, Alchemist Theatre has put the fun back in worship while removing the dogma.  AT combines elements of improv and theatre, live art, uplifting music, and interfaith spirituality, performing monthly.  Due to growing popularity, they have recently expanded to CSLR on Lakeside.  Their “Creation” themed May service packed 150 people into the venue on a Wednesday night, where patrons enjoyed renditions of songs by Girish and the Musical “Rent”, as well as sermons, prayers, and guided meditations touching the hearts of those in attendance.

Alchemist Theatre represents Reno’s unique brand of art, one that isn’t afraid to bare its soul. “Alchemist Theatre is so Reno,” said radio host Kelly Rush in a recent interview on America Matters radio.  For a truly unique transformative experience, take part in “Victory” by Alchemist Theatre on Wednesday August 17th, 7:30pm, at Center for Spiritual Living on Lakeside Drive.

Tickets, ranging from $15-$50, can be purchased online at www.alchemistmovement.org.

You can also learn more about our fabulous group at the website and on Facebook. The Alchemist Movement has begun, and it’s taking over Reno.

Alchemist Theatre’s “The Revival” brings a resurgence of Spirit to Reno this June
Reno, Nev. – Alchemist Theatre presents “The Revival” on Friday, June 24th at Center for Spiritual Living, Reno on Lakeside Dr., with food trucks/festival fun starting at 5:30pm, Revival at 7:30pm.

Over the past 17 months, Alchemist Theatre has put the fun back in worship while removing the dogma.  AT combines elements of improv and theatre, live art, uplifting music, and interfaith spirituality—“The Revival” features their most transcendent experience, complete with the festival atmosphere of food trucks, vendors, raffles, and a silent auction—fun for the whole family!

Headlining speaker Reverend Divine says, “The Revival is a fresh, modern take on a classic event, an interfaith celebration of life and spirit. It’s more than a performance; it’s a commitment to walk our highest path and a call to action.  Together, performers and patrons will raise their vibration and proactively work as a community to make a positive impact in our city.”

Alchemist Theatre performs monthly, and due to growing popularity, has recently expanded to CSLR on Lakeside.  Their “Confession” themed May service packed 150 people into the venue on a Wednesday night, where patrons pinned sashes (representing burdens and confessions) on a live art sculpture, and enjoyed renditions of songs by Hozier and Mumford and Sons by the Alchemist band and choir, not to mention soul-stirring talks by Reverends Levity and Divine.

Alchemist Theatre’s “The Revival” promises their best service on a theme highly relevant to our fair city: resurgence.  Reno fosters a widely expanding arts community, one that isn’t afraid to show its spirit.  “The Revival” will feature talks, music, and live art celebrating our shedding of the past and a return to life.  “Alchemist Theatre sounds very Reno,” said radio host Kelly Rush in a recent interview on America Matters radio.
